Election by Mail – Ballots will be mailed out to registered voters between February 17, 2025, and March 1, 2025.
Mail-In
All ballots must be returned before 5 p.m. on March 11, 2025 within a sealed Return Identification Envelope to your respective county election office by US Mail. Place postage on the Return Identification Envelope and mail at least two weeks in advance.

Hand Deliver
Hand deliver the ballot to the election office during business hours or put inside the Election Drop Box outside your county election office.

It is suggested that ballots be hand delivered and not mailed within 10 days of Election Day to ensure they are counted.

- Register online or mail-in a printed application before February 21, 2025 at https://www.nebraska.gov/apps-sos-voter-registration
- The deadline for in-person registration is February 28, 2025, by 6:00 p.m. at the Buffalo County Election Commissioner’s Office located at 1512 Central Avenue, Kearney, Nebraska or Sherman County Clerk’s Office located at 630 O Street, Loup City, Nebraska.
